Abstract

In Fiji, as in the rest of the globe, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced society to confront the failures and inequities of current healthcare models, and the resulting health risks, while also creating an opportunity to build a stronger, more resilient health system that is proactive and preventative, rather than merely reactive. Therefore, our research question, which explores the PIHRS health systems and policies sub-theme is How can the Fijian health system be re-imagined to ensure resilience?
