Abstract

Typhoid is one of the three priority diseases of Fiji Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MOHMS). By WHO classification, typhoid in Fiji is regarded as middle endemicity (for 2022: 55 cases per 100,000), but there are probably a lot of under-reporting and asymptomatic cases.
